AR has changed this year and is now a web-based program. This allows our students to have access to over 140,000 AR tests. Although, students cannot take a test at home, this new program allows our students to take tests on books you may already have at home, or those you borrow from the public library as well. Using this link, you can search and discover if a book is an AR test book. The book does not have to be a Nell Holcomb library book to be an AR test book.
Accelerated Reader Home Connect Now Available!!
We use a software program called Renaissance Place at school. This program (starting this year), is web based and has a special feature called Renaissance Home Connect, which you can access outside of school from any computer with an Internet connection. Renaissance Home Connect is fun and easy to use. It allows the teacher, you and your student to share information about their progress in Accelerated Reader. Using the “View Bookshelf” tab will show you all the books your student has tested on previously.
You can view Renaissance Home Connect from any computer with an Internet connection using these browsers:
• Internet Explorer® 7.x-9.x
• Firefox® 4.x or later
• Safari™ 3.x-5.1

If you'd like to receive emails showing your student's quiz or test results, click the Email Setup link in Renaissance Home Connect and follow the directions. To be sure these emails reach your inbox, add homeconnectautodelivery@renlearnrp.com to your address book.
